Kelsey Davidson, 26 year old founder & teacher of Radical Step Dance Studio in Fendalton, Christchurch died after a “days illness”.
She was passionate about the outdoors and often skied, hiked and made short dance films in nature across New Zealand. Meningococcal disease is a severe illness that can strike quickly. Ministry of Health data showed there were 120 cases of meningococcal in New Zealand in 2018, including 10 in Canterbury. Ten of the cases across New Zealand were fatal.
