World Meningitis Day is celebrated on April 24. The Philippine Foundation for Vaccination (PFV) Executive Director Lulu Bravo spoke about preventing potentially fatal meningococcal disease through vaccination.

She also stressed the importance of educating the public to prevent the spread of meningococcemia, as well as to allay the fears of the public so not to panic.
