The University of Oregon sent everyone in the student body an alert that a case of meningitis had broken out on the campus.
They recommended that all the students needed to be vaccinated for their safety. This is a rare disease, but it is extremely dangerous and can even be deadly. Young adults are particularly at risk because they often engage in behaviors that can spread the disease such as sharing cigarettes, drinks or kissing. So be aware, don’t share and don’t wait to vaccinate. The life you save could be your own.
