A Medford, Oregon family was hit hard when two of their children contracted meningitis.
One of the children attended elementary school and the other was in Middle School. Fortunately, none of either child’s classmates caught meningitis, but antibiotics were given to students who were in close contact with them. Although not highly contagious, meningitis can be transferred from person to person. This is particularly true during the cold and flu season. Recognize the symptoms of meningitis before it is too late. Don’t wait, vaccinate!!!
