The Hajj and Umrah include thousands of visitors from all over the world, who may be unknowingly carrying an infectious disease. The Ministry of Health publishes vaccine requirements and recommendations and may decide to administer prophylactic antibiotics to some travelers at the points of entry if deemed necessary.
