The Public Health Agency (PHA) is encouraging every student prior to entering college to be vaccinated against MenACWY.

Upon attending college there are many new situations that can expose students to meningitis including contact with many new people of a similar age and crowded living conditions along with sharing drinks, cigarettes and things that might have others’ saliva on them.  Consult your health care provider about MenB vaccine as well.
