Bella Fidler returned from a post-exam celebration holiday to Bali contracted meningococcal B and died.

Bella walked into the hospital with flu-like symptoms like headache & ‘not feeling right’. She even thought she might have Covid. She rapidly became critically ill and within hours, Bella had suffered extensive brain damage and was not expected to survive.

Her parents are now campaigning for vaccinations against the B strain to be included in the state-funded immunisation drive.
