As a new school year approaches the Kentucky Immunization Coalition is urging everyone to check their immunization records to make certain that they have all of their vaccinations.

Everyone needs to be protected from the spread of all vaccine-preventable diseases.  This includes of the strains of meningitis which can be deadly.  Since meningitis can be so quick to disable or kill, it is important to be vaccinated for this disease.  By the time you see symptoms it is sometimes too late to treat meningitis.  So don’t wait check your vaccination records immediately and get yourself protected without any further delay.
