Fellow cyclists at the Soul Cycle Studio in Larkspur, CA may have been exposed to meningococcal meningitis from one of their fellow cyclist who died from this deadly disease.

Although meningitis can only occur through the exchange of saliva, it is important to notify and protect everyone who has come in close contact with a person that has contracted meningitis.  So be aware and don’t share cups, drinking glasses or water bottles.  Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze and pay attention to sudden severe headaches, fevers and stiff neck symptoms that can be the first signs that you have been stricken with meningitis.
