Scheduled Vaccinations

The bacterium that causes meningococcal disease, Neisseria Meningitidis, has 5 serogroups, A, B, C, W, and Y.

There 2 types of vaccinations: one that covers ACWY conjugate vaccines (Menactra and Menveo) and serogroup B (recombinant) vaccines (Bexsero and Trumenba). Consult with your medical provider when you should get your children or yourself immunized.
