A senior at Rosemont High School became sick with meningococcal meningitis and is currently hospitalized.

The meningococcal vaccine recommended by CDC (Center for Disease Control) for 11 years old and above should be taken to reduce the spread and risk from meningococcal meningitis. Parents should talk to their doctor or pediatrician about getting their student vaccinated.
